A word from our founder

"I’d like to write a little about my proposal for benefactors, for those who benefit from the benefaction, and about the potential evangelical effects of such a system. First, for the grand schema: we will encourage every family to pay something, even if it is only the widow’s mite. By an overwhelming majority, we are wont to take better care of something when we have contributed our time and/or money for its foundation or perfection. We shall also exhort each student and family that is unable to pay full tuition to seek benefactors; if they cannot find anyone, we will do our best to provide one or some for them, but that is not all: students receiving assistance will promise to pray for their benefactors at the daily liturgical services and, optionally, during their own private Rosary or other appropriate prayers (Jesus Prayer, Akathistos, etc.). Further, we will unite all those benefactors and students – as long as the benefactor permits – that the student may compose periodic updates of his or her progress in faith and reason, in a letter to be mailed by the school to the benefactor regularly." -Jonathan Arrington
